unearthed

for the Ephorate of Antiquities of West Attica

During the opening of the exhibition unearthed, choreographer Maria Koliopoulou and prosxima dance company create a journey into somatic memory. The work employs a series of installations to usher the viewer into a fantastic reality. Through the usage of materials such as wood and clay and the archetypical sounds of gaida and ney, the choreographic work enters into a discourse with the past stimulating the audience’s senses and extending the boundaries of dance.
